Why would you be afraid to put it on a dyno?

well...its up to you whether you want to know or not...we really cant justify your exact numbers with you've done, only a dyno can do that.

Eh... if you have an auto tranny, stock is like 90 whp... So with intake and catback, maybe 100 whp. Sorry to burst your bubble.

go here to see 5sfe dynos
go to the right and click on naturally aspirated to get the 5sfe section and also on the bottom of that list you'll see the 5sfe numbers. theres on turbo 5s in that list that is pushing 515whp.

That dyno link isn't accurate.

Well first off it's from the MR2s, they probably got less restrictive headers/exhausts, plus they're mostly manuals.

5S-FE Camrys auto put down close to 100whp, even if you have cat-back.

135 hp at the crank then goes through the transmission (loss), torque converter (loss), differential (loss), various axles and shafts (loss), and your wheels (loss). All of these components have various masses and require energy to accelerate. Even your engine requires energy to accelerate. So take your 135 hp crank 5SFE engine and what you get is about a 25% apparent loss of power for about 100 hp as measured at the wheels.

Manual tranny's are much more efficient. usually only a 15-17% loss depending on the application.

true the are mr2s but we have the same engine. also you can see what sticks are putting down, which isnt a lot, so now you know your putting down less than that. it still gives him an idea of what to expect. ok also the camry that rippmods did their first supercharger on did a baseline run of 96 whp and then with their header and exhaust jumped to 116, in an auto.
