tire recommendations - 2002 camry XLE - 4cyl

tire recommendations - 2002 camry XLE - 4cyl ?

I have 58,XXX K miles. Got this car certified used when it had 48K on it.

All 4 tires are michelin MXV4 Energy Plus.... V rated tire. The front two are new with about 10 K miles. The back two are probably original factory tires and have 5 K miles more may be.

Should I go with the same tire MXV4 Plus? Do this car need a V rated tire?

I fee the MXV4's wear sooner and the wet grip is bad. (may be just be)

I don't have the sizes for every car memorized so I can't help you with a suggestion.

Yeah my 02 XLE need 16" tires.

The stock size is 215/60-16

Since my front two MXV'4 are much newer, i want to change only 2. (I guess this means I cannot really rotate.. )

You can rotate them no problem. As long as you have the same thing on the same axle you are good. Just rotate the tires front to back.

I think the 2 worn out MXV'4 on the rear are probably still original factory tires.

Tire rack says these are OEM tires.

You will want to put V rated tires on to match the characteristics of your other two tires.

Yes, you can rotate. Just keep the tires paired on the front or rear as stated above.

What's important to you? There are many considerations:

Handling
Tire wear/thread life
All season (wet, snow, dry traction)
Wet and dry traction
Dry traction only
Price
Handling

I've found that searching the TireRack works really great. You can check out all of those parameters and more VERY easily.

Here's a link to a search that I've already got your size entered into. Just choose the rest of the options and get the results.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Search...er=16&x=18&y=8

I hope that helps. If you have any questions based on what you find just post.
