these are ksport kontrol pro coilovers, with Pillow Ball Top Mount w/ adjustable camber
got them from JLB motorsports in california, great service and price.
sorry for bad pics, my friend is a noob with cameras haha, i will install them next week and post pics before and after. currently i have the trd(eibach) lowering springs but i wanted to go lower and slammed it.
I have a few buddies that have ksport co on their cars and they have no problems whatsoever with them. they also go to the tracks very often, so they push their cars to the limit. they all have had their co for about 2 years, and all the cars are daily driven. i have heard some ppl on hondatech having problems but it was mostly due to improper install or worn suspensionparts or crappy tires. i mean i believe these are good quality for the price.i hope this helps
oh i dunno how low, they can go yet. i will find out once i install them. I have yet to see a gen 5 with ksport coilovers, there are quite a few gen 3 or 4 with them.
good stuff, good stuff
they look identical to mine
Ksport must retain the same design with slight differences for the different generations of camrys - and that probly goes for most cars
you will not be dissapointed and a blind monkey could install them so that wont be a problem
mine have been on for about 2 months and my daily driven coupe is slammed - no squeaking, or weird noises as some coilovers make and the ride quality is amazing if you like an extremely stiff setup
tip: watch out for curbs and hills you could once roll over - 7-eleven, driveway, that one harsh bump on the main road - you get the idea
ya thats correct - max the dial rihgt up and then turn back 2 turns and thats the "factory setup" - its what ive always ran and ive never scraped my tires on the wheel well
probly the best to stick with cause even if you turn htem rihgt down there still real stiff
wow very nice......how long does it take to adjust height?
and is it possible to make it as soft as the SE?
adjusting shouldn't take too long, i believe. but i dunno yet, cuz I havent install/adjust them yet. No, it is not possible to make it soft as the se. The ride is gonna be pretty stiff I believe but no bouncy. I will let you guys know what everything goes once, i get them install and drive.
