I'm rushing out to buy one of these today!
By my rough calculations a 3.5 liter 4 stroke engine is flowing 62 cubic feet of air per minute at 1k rpm. That's just static at sea level. This gizmo has an electric motor drawing 2.2 amps. That isn't much, so while it might flow 250 cfm with no resistance, the motor doesn't have the umpff to maintain its speed with resistance to the air flow. It might increase the air pressure upstream by a pound our two but it couldn't amount to much. So no, this might be one for Mythbusters to take a look at, but you don't need to waste your hard earned bucks on this contraption.
