IS350 rims on hybrid *pics

TRD drop, IS350 all four 18x8.5 (offset 50) on 235/40/18. next i need 1/4in slap on spacers! thinking of getting other springs with a lower drop to lower the front a bit but leave the back TRD. what other ones are out there besides sprint springs?

I tired to get four IS350 front wheels (which are the 8", the 8.5" are the rears, right?) but could never find a shop willing to breakup two sets. So I settled for the GS430 wheels on my TCH.

I'm also interested if you bottom out on the rears, because everyone else who has tried TRD springs on a TCH bottoms out. That's why I have TRD springs in the front but SE springs in the rear of my hybrid.

yea the IS350 rims come 18x8(fr) and 18x8.5(rr) but i wanted width and was able to get all four 8.5. when i went to the shop i was expecting to get it staggered but the guy asked me if i wanted it all four 8 or 8.5 and of course i got them all 8.5.

That's the way the SE should have looked from the factory w/ maybe a different front lip and the addition of a subtle spoiler.

Did you measure the wheel gaps front and rear? From your pictures, it looks like your rear does sag just a little bit. The gap looks a little bigger in front. Just a warning, that "sag look" is what everyone else ended up with with the TRD springs. Look up threads here in TN from ttwaiter who posted extensively about using TRD springs on his TCH. Also, I started a thread over at GreenHybrid.com Camry forum titled "Dropped TCH", where other people posted about their failed installs with TRD springs. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to give you a helpful warning so you don't mess up your car bottoming out.

thanks man i appreciate the info. i did plenty research including your posts on lowering camry hybrids. yea the rear has that sag look cause the front has a larger gap, but this is one of the MANY cars ive owned that ive lowered. i plan on getting other springs to lower the front more to level it all out. i was expecting it to be the way it ended up. btw i did try to test to see if the bumpstops would catch but it looks good so far. my trunk was filled with packages of waterbottles and even several in the back seat, and bounced and bounced on the trunk ledge thing (i weigh over 200lbs lol) and the bumpstops or springs didnt clap. seriously though i really appreciate your info ur giving. your "lowered TCH" post helped me alot!

btw, i was planning on doing your set up (TRD/SE) but after i put the springs on, the gap up front wasnt good for me. so i guess im doing the same idea but a step below. might end up doing sprint springs(FR) and TRD(RR)
