Check in the trunk, under both seats, and any other place you can think of. Usually you can just tell that your car has a sub by the noise. I dont know where the factory sub position is in the Camry's cuz I dont have one. But then again you might not be able to tell if you have one cuz the factory 6x9's on the rear deck have some punch.

05-06 has 6x9's in the front doors and rear deck, plus 2.5"(?) midranges in the dash.. "stock" sub (which would be the dealer installed sub) would be under the pass. seat.

i tried to connect my bazooka bass tube to the rear speakers (per instructions) and the whole system shut down.

thats why i thought the stock system already had a subwoofer.

thats exaclty what i tried to do, according to the instructions you wire the bazooka to the rear speakers and get 12 from the aux conn (cig ligh).

this is exactly how i had it wired in my 300zx, i figure it would work the same exact way in the camry,

hm no power, ground or remote for the sub? im guessing there is a built in amplifier which would need power to turn on /off.

they should all be the same between the JBL and non-JBL systems.. i have to admit the JBL system isnt half bad, and this is coming from someone who had a system in my old camry.. but i changed it out and put my equipment into this new camry lol

If you want, I can sell you a Toyota genuine subwoofer for the Camry. It is plug and play and will go under the passenger seat with no problems because it is designed to go there. See my sig for more details.
