5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I've said it before, but I can do it again.. your Camry definitely has the sexiest rear end of any other Gen 6.
I'm sure you've gotten this from many people already, but I think if you lowered your car, you would be totally ballin' in that thing... like, I don't think it could be more complete if you did.
Did Toyota say what the problem was?

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Here are my future mods:
1) I am looking for a set of 18" GS430 or similar 5 star style with 225-45-18 tires
2) Once I got the 18" on, I will lower it with TRD springs
3) Powerslot front and rear rotors
4) Brembo brakes
5) Coilover if they ever come out
6) Rear Sway Bar for my LE I4 (can someone help me with the part # for this?)
Any other suggestions?

Sell me your current set of rims/tires once you get the GS430 rims!

Yeah, it was the header leak that allow the Coolant to dripped down into the oil pan. And that was how the coolant got into the oil. They said it did happened to a few i4 but mostly Corolla. My Camry was the first Camry reported with this problem. Luckly me huh?
Well, I got a brand new engine block with free 100,000 extended warranty + 5 free oil changes on any car I bring in.

Thanks man...for a while I thought about trade this car in for a SE V6. I used this "got coolant" excuse and was able to convinced my wife to upgrade the car. But after I calmed down and use the list of Pro and Con.....I decided to keep the car with the extended warranty. It would have been a white SE V6. Can you imagine what TRDVVTi would do to my white car???

Glad to see that you're happy and that your car is back from the dealer. Your car makes me wish I got silver instead of Super White. I didn't even notice the eyelids until you mentioned it later on this thread. They're very subtle looking and don't look bad at all. Can't wait to see your future mods!
