5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I have bought 4 cars from Longo Toyota. They have always been good to me. You really have to bang on them hard for a better price though. Usually there "best" price is pretty good though. I managed to get Lojac for free. They also gave me a new tire when mine got cut after 600 miles. I have 245/35/20's and they cost just under $200 per tire so I was pretty happy about that. I just bought a 07 SE 4cyl with JBL, Sport convenience, remote start, Lojac, rear spoiler, floor mats, tinted windows, pearl black insignia's, 20" tires and wheels for $27,400
I have a good friend that started working at the Penski Toyota in Norwalk last year. She is a service writer there and offered to give me employee pricing, but I ended up going back to Longo. Boy did I catch shit for that.
i usually buy my cars at cerritos toyota. i wont make any comment on their service dept.
since i dont get it done there. i usually do my own basic services i.e. oil change, brakes and all that. my 07 se though was bought from carson toyota...

Correct me If I am wrong, I think Longo Toyota is the biggest Toyota deler in socal. Most of their cars are kept in a multi-story carpark. More choices for you to choose from, but like what Rapid Roy said, you have to bang them hard to get a good price. Good Luck
Internet/Fleet Manager Phone 562.904.5686 Fax 562.861.0360 scharbonnet@pensketoyota.com
Real honest dudes and it isn't bad that they are also the Fleet Managers. They can give you a quote right on the spot through the phone or through email. Easy to bargain with too hehe.
Tell them that Ryan, who purchased the White 2007 LE back in December referred you. Don't deal with anybody else but these guys if you go in person.
I went to Tustin Toyota and talked to the fleet managers and got the Costco price They take about $1000 off MSRP right off the bat with the Costco program. Or you can find the closed Costco authorized dealer at www.costcoauto.com
I second the recommendation of Longo Toyota in El Monte. That place is busy in an insane way every damn day of the week.
They still make their money, but they do a good fair job and as long as you know what you want and what to expect (dog and pony show, etc) you should be fine.
thanks... i appreciate. if you guys know of someone specifically at the dealerships that you have dealt with and is pretty decent and nice, let me know. that would be great.
