Gen5 Underbody plastic fasteners

In doing a few repairs I had to remove the plastic moulding up front under the car. I destroyed some of the clips that keep it on, taking it off and I can't seem to find anyplace to buy more. I recovered enough of them to keep it on the car but it's sagging down and always scraping on stuff. Does anybody who knows what I'm talking about, know where I can get some of these clips? I wouldn't normally post about something so silly, but I have searched everywhere online, including the archives of this board.

Try a body shop. We use to have many different styles on hand for any type of car. They may chrge you around $.50 each for them.

I'm sure you can get the from a dealership but they would probably be expesive, mabe a few dollars each but it might be worth it if you can't find them anyware else. Junk yards don't like to botther with little stuff like that..

I got them at the dealer for around .85 cents each I think. But then again, I knew the person working there, so maybe I got a discount. Don't always underestimate the dealer. I got new trim pieces from the dealer on my 93 for $5 each, the junkyard wanted more. And on our Previa, the plastic clips for the cup holder were 0.50 cents.

Sometimes Toyota isn't out there to screw you, sometimes.

$1.21 MSRP at the dealer, $0.84 from toyotapartsales.com. i would try your dealer first... it'll probably either be cheaper or end up being the same as buying online (shipping costs).
