does the bluetooth feature come on all 07 camry se with and without navigation unit? anybody have good or bad experience with the feature on any model? how is the bluetooth for the people who has it? is it convenient?
I don't know if it's my phone or the car but my Bluetooth is hit or miss on both recieving and outgoing calls. I'm thinking it's my phone (Samsung T809) so when my contract runs out I'm hoping my new phone will work better.
Only the 1st week with my new LE V6. The BT is very easy to use and paired with my Nokia easily. You should be fine. Once you used BT and handsfree feathure in a car, you will not want to go back.

Completely true. I laugh at all those fools walking around town all day with silly ear-attached BT headsets. That stuff looks plain dumb.

seems most people are loving the bluetooth feature. i can see bluetooth imbedded in future cars to come since its more of a safety feature. it gives the driver relaxation and at the same time to be more focused on the road and having both hands on the wheel is important. i am looking into the camry and bluetooth is something i want in a car. i love to listen to music in the car and since i store music in my phone and is bluetooth compatible, i had the idea that i can listen to my music stored in the phone and play them through the speakers of the car. this means no more storing cd's and changing them out in the cd player, a huge plus for me. then again i am not sure if it will work. has anybody tried this? i havent done it when i went to the dealership the first time but will try to get in the car and take the time to test it out.
I'm pretty sure that streaming audio does not work. I'm sure I read a previous post on a different thread confirming this.
Streaming audio through BT will not work. Correct.
But if you have BT, that means you have the JBL audio system. And that means you have the "Aux In" port below the radio. Therefore, you can plug in a mini-jack and stream audio through that.

If you are having problems with your reception I would guess it is the phone and not the Camry's Blue-Tooth.
We have a Nokia (mine) and Mrs Dood's RazR hooked up and they both work pretty good. I can hear very well. my only problems is getting it to understand my wife's damn name...It always sez: "Sounds like LIST". When I am by this time SCREAMING her name MARIE! hehe
So I stopped all the voice commands and simply turned the tunning dial to what I want to use in the menu....

Keep in mind that BT has limited bandwidth and that means even if you can stream audio, the audio quality could be pretty lousy thru the audio system in the car.
I love my Bluetooth as well. I have not had any problems with mines since I bought my car. The sound is perfect and the voice activation for dialing numbers or stored names works well. One FYI is that any stored names must contain at least two sylabi in order for the bluetooth to recognize the names used.
