new nav disk part number

I have searched everywhere on this board but can't find what i need to know. I'm looking to get a v6.1 nav disk for my 07 camry, but all I have read about is a gen 5 6.1 disk. do gen 5 and 6 camrys use the same disk? if so please tell me the part # or where to buy one. thanks!

I'm trying to avoid this route as to save money. I have seen some disks on ebay but they all say Gen 5.
I guess the real question is do Gen 5 and 6 use the same disk?

Again, this is the part # for the updated 5.1 disc that removes the override function. And better yet that parts site you linked to says it is a disk player for $700!

I need a v6.1 disk for my 07 camry. Is there such thing as a Gen 6 v6.1 disk or do I get the Gen5 v6.1 disk which is part # 86271-53021

You can only get gen.6 for 6.1 disk when toyota release it. Until then wait

Gen.5 of disk 6.1 was released in Jan. 2007 and even thats not a year.

This thread is about '07, Gen 6 vehicles and v6.1 NAV discs.

Camrys that were built in the August/September 2006 timeframe came with V6.1 discs!!!!!

I coould give a rat's ass about Gen 5 Camrys.

Where the gen 5 camry came from OP was looking for gen6 of v6.1 nav disk, which is not released yet. Camrys built last year have gen4 of v6.1. Gen5 was only released this year. My car which is built in July 2007 also came with gen5 of v6,1 disk.
