New TSB replaces the old EG-056-06 which is now obsolete.

for all 2007 camrys (2AZ-FE) manual and automatic transmissions.

What is the TSB for? Does it apply for all I 4s? Thanks.

Downloads new software into the cars computer to enhance shifting performance and smoothness.

at any rate, it's about time they came up with an update on this. i'm so sick of my dealer telling me, "oh, this is normal. that's how the drive-by-wire system works" blah blah blah.

The 05/06/& some 07 Avalon's have the same issue. They are equipped with the 2GR-FE engine.

If your V6 Camry has this engine, Toyota has a fix. There is a TSB section in the Camry forum. Go check it out.

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but even thought the 07 has the same engine it is the transmission that is causing issues. 05,06,07 avalon = 5speed, and 07 camry = 6speed. toyota DOES not have a fix. just for your information.

The problem is not with any "hard" part like the transmission. It's with the code on the ECM - microcode. The Avalon fix calls for a reflash of the ECM. The Camry fix will also

The TSB list here may not be current. Can't say.

If one does not exist today, it's just a matter of time B4 it does.

like i said before, the avalon = 5 speed. camry = 6 speed. the issue in the 07 camry v6 is the shift flare, which NO current TSB fixes the issue. i have followed this issue since the beginning, and i have yet to find a fix.

perhaps it is an ecu issue which needs a reflash, but with transaxles replaced left and right with ecu reflashes called out in recent TSBs, i have not heard of any "actual" fix from all the complaints. correct me if i am wrong.

i agree toyota will eventually solve this issue, but does someone really want buy a new vehicle with the transaxle replaced after 200 miles of driving. i know i wouldn't. that to me is not a simple oil change, but it seems major.

don't get me wrong, i love toyota, and i would apply for a job there if they would hire me. but they NEED to be "MOVING FORWARD" but with these uprises in issues it is more like "MOVING FORWARD IN THE WRONG DIRECTION". that should be there new motto.

just my two cents guys. i hope the issues in both the i4 and v6 get fixed. until then, i will be at the local bar drinking my life away.

Had it applied few days ago and car runs much better now. Fells almost like V6
