I hit three deer within a year once. Minnesota has tons of deer.

we don't really have any issues with deer here in so fla. only raccoons and armadillos.

I hit a deer once on 125th street and 5th avenue in Harlem, or at least that is what i told myself that night... lol. too dangerous to stop and get out to double check it...

Maybe it couldn't react in time as you hit 60 so quickly.

Truthfully, though, nothing puts the fear into me like a dark evening with lotsa deer along the roadways. They're not very bright animals, and will dart out for no reason.

Glad you're okay... could've been much worse, as we've all heard stories of people getting badly injured when deer roll onto hoods and through windshields.

Be careful out there, y'hear? And good luck rehab'ing your ride.

true about deer,though the damned thing waited till i was at it and lept from the bushes and there was nothing i could do.killed the poor thing.it was just a small fawn which kept it from rolling up the hood ,just smacked it with the bumper its head broke my headlight and it pushed the grill in,rolling the hood a bit.pictures coming soon

I hate crabs more than I hate deer.

I've never had them though, and I don't want them again.
