Interior Lighting Fix

I have replaced all of my interior lighting with white lights from superbright.com and it all worked well but I am having trouble getting my dome light to work properly again. I cannot get the on off switch back installed properly so that it catches the internal "slide" to turn it off and on....

Any ideas or tricks???

Thanks Brian

I will try to get pics.....but basically when I popped the dome light off the slider piece that turns the light on/off feel off and now I cannot get it locked back into place so that it will function properly. It basically slides freely back and forth without the light turning on....it just will not lock into place again..
