cold air intake

i put a cold air intake onto my I4 2002 camry, and it all seems to work fine, but there seems to be what sounds like air coming out of teh EVAP. I tightened all the clamps, it still makes a high pitched noise that sounds like aior. Any suggestions to how to fix it, or if its suppoed to do that?

Sounds like just filer sucking air. Make sure MAF sensor is tight but think that is how it sounds

It ALMOST sounds like a wastegate or blow-off valve like on turbos, if that's the thing ur talkin about. There's nothin you can really do about it. I've had it checked and they said they have cars that come in with intakes that have that sound too. It's just one of those things you gotta deal with. I forget it after a while. Doesn't damage anything.

I didn't like this sound which is why I keep my intake short and don't use a long extension pipe. I have a cone filter mounted to the stock plastic pipe in basically the facory location. As a result the air is not "cold" but I get all the "good noise" of the motor without that hissing sound. Presonally I can't tell the diference having the extension pipe on.
