what is wrong with how it rides now...geez.. a camry rides better than most cars...and it doesnt handle like a boat......im not sure if you really want it to ride like a cadillac, or are you referring to OLD cadillacs from the 70s that had springs that were WAAYYY too soft??

I can't believe that you need struts already. Are yours leaking?

If you drive really really fast you can sail over the pot holes. When I get going I can miss 5 or 6 before coming back down.

I do not see any leaks, but after hitting two pot holes on two different occasions, i now hear some noises when breaking and turning at slow speeds. also, i feel the light bumps on the road harder now. now sure if maybe the cv joints, or some other component, but on inspection there are no visible tears, etc. car now has 47K miles (2005). i dont feel the same "tight" feeling as before. I figure just change the struts and put in new springs, front brake pads, and get new tires. then i will see how the car rides after that. will go with KYB GR-2 struts, but not sure which coil springs to get yet. as all New Yorkers know, our roads here in the city are like a military obstacle course every day. the tri-state area is murder on our cars.

HA! we had a big rain storm a week or so ago where it rained ~4 inches in an hr.. subways were totally shut down, minus the 7 train. i had to walk from times square to union square!! not only that, there were no extra buses on the road to help with the movement of people from midtown to downtown. great public transportation my ass lol
