I was doing a few searches on here about how to replace the front turn signals on the 07 Camry's, but haven't found anything. Perhaps I'm not using the right keywords, but anyways, has anyone been able to replace them on your own versus taking it to a dealer? I want to swap them out for the Silverstar bulbs. Also, since I do live in an apartment, I am pretty limited at what work I can do on my car by myself, so the easiest way possible would be appreciated.
I am looking to do this swap in the future also, but not soon. There are many owners in here who has done the swap. I hope they can help because I also want to know how to do this.
No it's not a joke... I'm not talking about the headlights... I'm talking about the turn signal bulbs. It's damn near impossible to reach the socket from inside the engine bay. Take a look at your engine bay and let me know. Also, maybe it's because mine is the V6, so it's blocked off... couldn't tell you how the I4's engine bay is.

Well you can use long needle-nose pliers to twist the thing off.
Alternatively, you can take apart your bumper like in the squirrel spotter mod, take out the headlight, and then change the bulbs.
If you've done it before, it will take you 30-40 minutes in total.

Hmmm... unfortunately removing the bumper is next to impossible for me... like I said, living in an apartment complex, I do not have a garage to do work in like I did when I was living at home. The only possibility I was thinking of was removing the covers inside the wheel wells. I would have to guess that would provide the easiest access to those sockets.
Undo the one clip in the front of the wheel well, pull back the wheel well to access back of turn signal bulb, twist out and replace.

Hmmm... unfortunately removing the bumper is next to impossible for me... like I said, living in an apartment complex, I do not have a garage to do work in like I did when I was living at home. The only possibility I was thinking of was removing the covers inside the wheel wells. I would have to guess that would provide the easiest access to those sockets.
That idea will fail. I've taken apart my bumper twice so I know where those bolts for the headlights are. You CANNOT get away with not removing the bumper if you wanna take out the headlight assembly itself.
It does not matter if you're in a condo. I am also in a condo. All you need is pliers, a screwdriver (plus), and a socket wrench. Make sure your socket bits aren't too "deep" cuz that will be a pain to work with at the fender area.
For a 6-pack of import beer, I can do the whole bumper process if someone's in the Toronto or Barrie, Ontario areas.

The turn signals are accessable through the wheel well. One clip, pull back, boom your there!

Why don't you just take it home and do it then... over the weekend or somthing.
Good to know. There are no tools necessary for the removal of the clips in the wheel wells BTW.
As said, a flathead or even a Dime. Rotate clip counterclockwise till it "clicks" either 90 or 180 degrees then pull out
