A lightweight pulley would work great if you had the head redone, lighweight pistons, lightened flywheel, stage 3 clutch, custom fuel/engine management, larger injectors, header, high flow exhaust and a high flow intake system. Upgrading just that part is kind of like putting on one racing tire and expecting the car to handle better. You need to plan out your hop ups so all the parts work together.

It would work great at hurting that kind of setup even more. There's a reason for the huge market of better performing aftermarket dampers.
this has been covered many times with a lot of flames as well pls search zpi pulley opinions or something there's a lot of info and fights there trd up there is right though to summarize
ok so i searched and wow, should have done that in the first place.surprised some of you guys still speak to one another.also im curious if whitechocolate has had any problems with his such as oil consumption.
im not sure of the long term effects (i know they do not damnpen harmonic vibtrations like a stock pulley does) or the performance gains, but i do know that ZPI manufactures a pulley for the scion tC that will fit the camry perfectly....

The point I was trying to make is that those types of performance parts belong in a whole different engine setup. Its more for an all out race setup, not so much for street/everyday use. You are correct though. There are many better ways to boost performance and still have a daily driver.

Nope. Haven't had a single problem as a result of installing the pulley.
As far as "gains" go... there are dyno sheets from ZPI when they installed the pulley on a tC... from what I noticed, it just allows the RPMs to go up a little faster... but after a while of driving like this, you just get used to it and it doesn't feel any different haha.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
so, if i just install the zpi pulley, get a lightened flywheel and some trd stickers, i should run0-60 in about 4.2?i could tape it.might have to change the framerate a bit.

Just get a penis pump. It would be cheaper in the long run.
