Gen6 Ground Wiring Kit

Unsure if this topic has been covered, but I was wondering if changing the ground wiring in cars is a good idea or if in the end it really doesn't do much for your car in the long run. Have heard a few good things about changing these wires out and found this same kit at SuperAutoBacs in Socal.. interested to see everyone's opinions on if this a good idea or just a waste of time.

heres the link to the Ground Wiring Kit, I was looking at.

1) That's way overpriced, you can easily piece together a kit like that with even better quality wires for half the price.

2) Ground wiring kits help when you have an aftermarket sound system or some other component that drains the battery. Otherwise, most people just say it makes their lights brighter and less of a dim. Some also say the car starts better, while others say it gives 1-2hp.

That is expensive! It should only cost $30 to make set of wires. I used to make a set for Infinit G35 Coupe. My headlights got brighter and starting up the car quicker as well.

+1 on being overprice. You're mostly paying for the brand name.

Thanks for the Input... Any negative effects of switching out the ground wire in our cars? Most of the comments I've seen have been positive ones so that's always a good thing.. I am looking into creating my own ground wiring kit, and was just using that link as an idea to what I was talking about. Can't see myself spending that much for ground wires, especially just for a name brand.

Our cars are brand new... so all the connections are still good... grounding kits work best for older model cars
