Question on the 6spd transmission

When I got my bill for this months car payment, it came with a flyer on the 2008 Avalons. I noticed that it said that the new 2008 Avalon comes equipped with a new 6speed automatic transmission that learns how you drive, and adjusts shift patterns and timings.

Is that true? And if it is, would that also mean it's the same for the 6speed on the Camry's?

Seems so. Same damn tranny. Wonder if they will have Shift Flare too?

Still, I had a 07 Avalon for a loaner and I really, really liked that car. Very comfy to drive.
the seats were like Lazy-boyz! hehe!
