Automatic Climate Control?

I own a 2003 Camry LE with the manual climate control... is there anyway to modify or change the wire harness to accept the autmatic climate control?

ive heard that it is possible to install the XLE's unit, but it would require alot of custom work to make it all work, and youll need the XLE harness as well....not 100% sure whats involved, because i havent seen someone do it before, bt ive always wondered if its possible

it'll cost too much money and too much time to make it worthwhile in my opinion. its not just the HVAC controls you have to replace: there's temperature sensor, blower actuator, etc. not entirely sure of all the things needed, but its a lot more involved then just replacing the controls.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I'm just curious; why do you want to go to the automatic climate control?

it's probably possible but not very practical... you would need to modify all of the wiring and the wiring harness, and you might even need to reprogram the ECU...

automatic climate control looks cool, but its really not worth the effort required to install the setup in a LE or SE model.....i personally think the regular etup is easier to use as well
