Alarm Options

I am looking for alarm options for my 05 Camry SE. I never thought about it but after some research some people have said that these come pre-wired with an alarm. I have a security LED on the dash bu the AC controls but I don't think it's a full function alarm.

Are the nice clifford or viper alarms good? Any way I can integrate a remote start feature?

Yes, get the AutoMate. It's made by the same company as the Clifford & Viper (Directed Electronics). With this you can use your existing factory remote, dual shocks, ect. and I think they have the remote start features avail. I got mine from the dealer, it works good.

I believe the flashing security light means that your car is equipped with transponder keys, and won't start unless the transponder is nearby.
