5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I was going to buy some 20" 114x8.5 that used to be on a Lexus LS 430. When i saw the 114x 8.5 I thought it was to wide and the first thing that came to mind was toyotanation. I know there is alot of camry guru's out there. So please help me out will these rims fit my camry. Thanks everyone and Toyotanation kicks ass.
They should be fine depending on the offset. Whats the wheel offset? If its like +48, then yeah, its too big. But if its like +42 or something, you're good. Then after that, it depends on your tire size.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
No, thats not it. Those numbers are strictly for the tires. The first number is the tire width in millimeters. The second number is a percentage of the first number that makes up the tire's sidewall height-- an aspect ratio, if you will. That last number is the rim size.
The offset is a seperate number, and usually has a + in front of it. Kind of like 20"x8.5 +45

What the brand name and model of the rims? If it used to be on the LS430, I can asumme the offset won't be too far off for the Camry. What year is the LS430? You need to know the year of the LS430 so you can compare the specs to the Gen5 Camry.

The thing about the LS430 vs. the Gen 5 Camry is that the LS has a much larger wheel well, and can fit wider rims on higher offsets. If its 8.5" with a lower offset, its fine. But a higher offset that fits an LS may not quite fit the Camry.

The guy told me that he bought the car 2 years ago. So I am guessing its a 04-05. He will send me some more info on the offset size early this morning. I will post the info up asap.
