Gen6 Tire presure monitor cost

Does anybody know how much the air presure monitors cost? I want to buy new rims but I don't want to use the monitors that are on my existing rims. I want to leave the original rims and tires alone.

Gen6 My 2007 Camry TPMS sensors 4 sale!

If you are interested I have a set taken off my 2007 Camry LE which is guaranteed to work which I would be willing to sell. In any event make sure you get the correct set...alloy wheel tpms sensors are different from steel rim tpms sensors.

tpms

I was told that the Toyota part # is 42607-06011
and it is the same part number no matter what wheel (steel vs alloy)
I have an 08 camry with stock steel wheels and I want to put on some 17" stock alloy wheels and I was told that the current monitors would fit.

Im not trying to sound like a "noob"...but how do these things work?
And how can you know if they are on your vehicle?

My girl has a v-6 SE....was just wondering how I could tell if she has them, and what I'd have to do to implement them when she gets new tires.
