Gen6 DVD playback?

Im looking at adding navigation to my XLE V6, I don't know why I didn't get it in the first place, got everything else. Anyway, there is someone selling one on ebay, in the item description it says "DVD playback". It doesn't really play back DVD's does it? Has anyone had the navigation added by the dealer? If so, how much did it cost to buy the parts, and have them do it? Has anyone had a DIFFERENT navigation system put in? If so, any recommendations? Thanks all!

That unit is not a Toyota factory nav system. It's aftermarket.

Gen6 Navigation

Does anyone know if it is as good as the factory nav system? There isn't much about it on ebay, wondering if anyone has seen it or installed it in their Camry?

not sure about camrys but my experience is that most aftermarket navis are far better than any factory navi excluding german cars.

That isn't what he was asking. This apparent POS is a knock off and if it were me I would run away from it.

If you did mean to ask about Eclipse and other such units, you can't properly compare performance with OEM integration and warranty coverage, IMO.

Gen6 Cool

Wow, thanks for sending me that thread! I was able to get the oemvalue Option 2 for Camry along with the lockpick to enable video playback on the screen as well as some other enhanced features. Thanks again!
