Cincinnati Ohio Gen5,5.5 Members needed for vehicle testing
Hey guys, if you are close to the Cincinnati Ohio area, please send me a PM so that I can have you speak with a distributor that would like to import some much needed aftermarket parts for our Camrys, but first needs to test fit the items to your Camry. I'll need one representative from each of these two groups:
"Thanks for the call and the follow-up. I have already spoken to the managers in our engineering department and planted the seed for the project. The next step is to find a sample of the factory parts to get all the critical dimensional information from to see if the European parts might fit the cars in the US. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t.
You had mentioned that the factory parts were made by brand A and that your car was from Japan. Since the Camry plant is not far from here in Georgetown, KY and there is a Brand B factory nearby, we were under the understanding that those cars had factory Brand B parts. This reminds me that a mid-‘90s Camry application that they have parts for in Europe does not or rarely fits US Camrys. We just need to find out for sure."
So maybe not a test fit, just a pull-off and measure?
but y would someone let u take apart there car just for a company to take measurements? what is the person lettin u use there car getting out of it? free partS? lol

normally one would just post ALL the info for everyone to see..since if this so called testing goes good, people here might want whatever the product may be.
The head of US operations asked me NOT to give ANY details because he said last time someone did that on a message board, it caused a pandemonium. He does not want to deal with the deluge of e-mails, calls and I can understand that.
