Price check on 2002 LE 5 speed

Looking at this 2002 LE model, here are the specs:

82K miles
5 speed

Everything is stock except for 15" wheels. Needs new tires.

Everything works, original owner, all repair records.

Original brakes, belts and everything else as far as I understand.

The asking price is $8500. The owner has the original sticker with $19K+.

Opinions?

Also: What should I expect to fix in the next year?

If it's had maintenance done, etc like it states, that's a pretty good price. Really good price, actually.

I bought my 2002 SE a month ago for $9900.

It needed two tires, speakers, new tint on the back window, floor mats, trim snaps (freaking $4 each for a 1 cent part), and a "cargo pad" that goes in the trunk ($45). It also had some repaired body damage.

List was $12,900. The only things it needs now climate control navigation and Optitron gauges

get it checked out by a mechanic...if it needs brakes, price them out and deduct it off the price, or get them to get new brakes. Same with the belts or anything else that it may require..like tires.
