Is this a good or bad deal? I'm not sure about the chrome though. Any thoughts?

It looks like they are used rims that were dipped in chrome recently (even though the auction says 'new').
They are going to be quite heavy with a triple chrom plate aftermarket finish. Price is right, though (although shipping adds a hefty chunk).

Keep in mind it is still a bidding price. That is not a buy it now price. By the time it is done bidding it will probably be close to $1000. One of the TN member, Eyekutr has the same set for sell for a lot less than that.

Just for your reference, I paid $450 shipped for my GS430 wheels which were new take-offs. As mentioned, this set appears to be dipped in chrome, so who knows what the condition of the wheels were prior to dipping. But as long as the chromer did a good job and filled any dings in the alloy, you won't tell a difference, the chrome should be smooth and shiny. (I've rechromed many, many golf clubs, and they all came back looking like straight from the factory). If you can get them at $599 plus $120 shipping, this would be a good deal.

The silver paint on my GS430 wheels is flaking in some areas (only after 1 year!), when I'm sick of looking at them that way, maybe I'll get them chromed.
