Lowering Springs

For those of you who have lowered your cars, or who has knowledge about springs, does it affect gas mileage at all? Just a good question so I can know in the future.

Well really it depends on how well you re-calibrate your flux capacitor.

Actually, in theory wouldn't it improve gasmileage? The center of gravity is lower and thus there is a more efficient transfer of power to the ground.

Kind of like how upgrading suspension can help 1/4 times by a little bit.

It's a negligible amount, but still something to think about....

Kind of like how a CF hood technically should improve your gas mileage...

All you're doing is just lowering the car. You aren't making it any harder for the engine to push the car forward. So No. Your mileage won't change.

Yes.

Not enough to measure or notice.

The less air that gets under the car the better for top speed, fuel efficeincy, and handling.
