That project turn out great!! And the color matches.
When I talked with the guys at VG they told me to use the Toyota Corolla when ordering but to specify that this was for a Camry in the special instructions field in PayPal. You would of course use the Camry colour code and name.

As for the antenna wire, I snuck behind the rubber gasket (or what ever it is) that's around the rear window. There's quite a bit of room there. I used two shirt collar insert...one to lift the gasket the other to push the wire in. This way I didn't scratch the paint or glass and they were thin enough to get the job done quickly.

I don't see why the fin would not work with XM...

The wire that you see inside the fin is used to connect to actual radio antennas that some cars like the Toyota Corolla and Mazda 3 have on the roof...for my application this wire and small circuit board were useless...

Look here...

Requires drilling?

Yes EuroPlate, that shark fin does look good. One question though, did you have to drill a noch to let the wire into the anteena. If not, how does the wire go under it?

Yes, I drilled a small hole for the satellite antenna wire to pass...you can barely see it...

Gen6

Nice to bump a post from November, eh?

I got the shark fin from ebay (not the VG shark fin)...the designs between the two are slightly different. anyone know if the sirus or xm antenna will fit?

I guess I should just take my shark fin to best buy or something to see if they have an extra antenna laying around so I can check it for fitment.
