5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just took mine off. I never mentioned it before because I wanted it to be my secret weapon.
Disclaimer: The above post was for HUMOR ONLY! If you are too stupid (or if you're Mgreathouse77) to realize that I was trying to have some fun you deserve to purchase the "chip" and install it in your car. Don't try this at home. I'm a trained professional and type this under the supervision of people that are much smarter than I.
That explains alot why you PM me asking me my opinions on this and that, if you should post this or not, should you bash someone or hold back, etc. Now it's all coming together.

I would be mad if I bought a "chip" and got a crappy resistor. No sarcasm in that.
The poster would have like to thought the he was the only one that fell for it, but as my reply states, it's far from the truth. Just look at the number of people who have purchased the items on eBay.
You'd have to be pretty stupid to think that my response was endorsing that product.
I was not referring to your post in this thread as being sarcastic. I was referring to your posts in general.(NOT meant to be an insult) I could provide examples, but you and I both know there are people browsing and posting on these forums stupid enough to believe anything.

on topic....these scams are a dime a dozen....im sure its possible to reporgram the camry's ecu for power, but no "chip" will do anything....it will need to be completely reflashed and reporgrammed by a professional....if something appears too good to be true, it most likely is
