Those are pretty popular. If you want bi-xenon, ever looked at the TL's?

crap didn't pay close attention, then probably will go with the tsx or rx330 projectors. Depends.

And I always wanted to know: What are squirrel spotters?

The Squirrel Spotters are a big problem with the '07 Camrys and HID kits. The Squirrels Spotters are not DOT mandated. They are there to see road signs and stuff like that. They are covered up because they are OK with Halogen, but with HID the glare is unbearable to oncoming traffic. These can be covered up with aluminized duct tape that are meant to withstand high temperature.

If you have HID projectors with squirrel spotters, you don't have to worry about them. HID projector squirrel spotters are much much smaller than halogen projector squirrel spotters.

As far as the e46 projectors, I personally don't like their output. Go with TSX or RX330. My next retro, whenever that is, is going to be an LS430 setup.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

LS430 is considered one of the best, if not THE best low beam HID projector.

Every retrofit is different. No two retrofits are exactly the same. Do some research on HIDPlanet. They have threads all the time with many step by step retros for all sorts of different cars. Not all steps are always shown, so some improvisation on your part is going to be needed.

Here's mine: http://toyotanation.com/forum/t205881.html

Here's JSM's: http://toyotanation.com/forum/t170924.html

There have been a few HID retrofits on the Gen6.

I believe the LS460 projectors are too big for our headlamp. If you want top notch quality, the s2k ones would be great, but for a first timer, they'd be pretty hard.

I know someone has done an RX330 on these forums as well, they looked much easier then the TSX retrofits, mainly due to a Toyota projector moving to another Toyota headlamp. The TSX ones give a sharper more colorful cutoff line, but require some cutting of the projector itself.

As for tips, you'd have to search from HIDPlanet and forums for some help. Otherwise things would just be some general pointers:

1) Remember where the screws are when you take off your bumper.
2) Try to see if you can get a hold of an extra set of headlamps so you can still drive your car.
3) It will take a long period of time to work on the retrofit.
4) You need good dremeling abilities.
5) Do not buy an HID kit, buy some quality Philips bulbs.
6) Remove lens cover from headlamp slowly but surely.
7) Take your time, don't rush perfection.
