Gen6 Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905U

Just wanted to share with you my new Nav works great uses built in 20gb drive, very easy to ground so you can use the nav feature while driving. I've installed it with the bluetooth module and ran the mic into the overhead console very clean cant see it. Install was pretty easy you do loose the steering wheel control not a big deal for me others prefer the Eclipse for that feature, I have an eclipse on my 350z and I think this one works much quicker. I took some install pictures if anyone needs help. I did use the metra dash kit per other's recommendations and very happy w/ the color and fitment.

Looks good, but one question. On the screen it doesn't seem to have any of the streets marked...is that normal or am I missing something.

I didn't even know Panasonic made double din navigation systems...another option for those who want a quality navigation system not named Valor or Dual. Does it have XM or iPod capabilities?

Yeah it does show street names just I was in a parking garage and I just turned on the nav so it takes a second for the street names to display. But even on fully zoomed it shows the major street names maybe its a setting to show the smaller details I'm still learning how to use it. There is a an ipod connector I get it next Wednesday its supposed to be able to display the video off a video ipod also. I have bluetooth module on it currently but major drawback is you cant dial from the radio at all you can answer with the push button they offer, good thing though is everyone I talk to say I sound very clear. This is Panasonic's first navigation I would say its very similar to the Eclipse on the way it works but becuase its HDD based it's really fast. I like the look of the 7" screens makes it much cleaner. I'll post a follow up when I get the ipod adapter. Supposedly they're will be a sirius traffic module availble this fall.

unfortunatly the newer the car the harder it is to get an aftermarket head unit to look good. imo theres too much empty space going on and the color match is a little off. if it were my car and i had that dah to work with ( i own a gen 5.5) i would have looked into installing a big lcd screen in the dash and worked a single din multimedia player in there somehow. of course that would void the touch screen but theres ways around that.
