Gen5 Weather Strip/Seal for Body Kit
I just got the Sportivo body kit and it came with this weather strip for sealing the gap where the kit meets the car. Can someone tell me if this seal really necessary? And what is the down side to not installing it?

The downside is an uneven gap and debris rubbing between the kit and the car damaging both surfaces.

it's the Sportivo kit for the non-Sportivo model, so it's not the kit that comes standard with the Aussie Sportivo model. it looks good though. i got the full kit imported for less than $800 (price of kit + freight). it was such an amazing deal, i couldn't pass it up!
