Gen5 TRD Springs installed [sorry no pics yet]

So i woke up today morning with a bright smile. put on some white t's and some shorts and headed out to the shop. luckily, i was introduced to this shop by my brother, so i got a discount and paid only $120 for the whole installation. The thing that surprised me the most was that he finished the job in less than 2 hours... and he was talking on the phone and helping out other customers while he was installing my springs. i read on this forum that the installation would take about 5-6 hours, so i thought about just leaving my car there but ended up just waiting couple hours. so far... I LOVE the drop, just as i wanted. the handling has improved so much. i will be posting up new pictures tomorrow. just thought i let you guys know =D

-Jae

o btw, my lip with the drop isnt too bad. it looks like ill be scraping more than before, but not as bad i thought itd be.

Congrats! It took me and a couple guys about 3-4 hours, but I have no problem seeing how a shop can do it in 2, especially if they have all the tools and experience.

Make sure to post pics though ASAP!

If you've done a spring swap before it should only take a couple hours max (if you have an impact gun).

Congrats on the drop, I love my trd springs.

me by myself in about 3-4 hours, taking time, and coffee breaks. Actually the only time consuming part was finding access to the rear strut where I luckily find a bolt underneath the side seat cushion. This is the 4th spring job I've done, and yes, impact gun and spring clamps are your best friends.
