Thanks! -- Your advice in the previous thread was great! I took a lot of precautions and tested out the stock dampeners to make sure that everything was alright.

One kink we ran into was how much to cut the bump stop. We cut it about 1/2 inch on each and there were 2 spacers in the back.

I do hope this information helps a lot of people out since we couldn't find anything about the bump stop in the forums.

I also wanted to let everyone know how much of a bitch it was to tighten the rear screws -- we also lost a couple of plastic push screws that I would like to replace -- just don't know where.

Anyway, thanks for the comment and appreciate all the advice. I just need to put on my splash guards + Rims now and we're going to be set.

Pic of the RIM that i'm going to replace:

Thanks!

since it is lowered, will the chance of the low hanging exhaust hitting the road be more now?

The drop is 1.2 in the back and 1.4 - 2.0 in the front depending on how much you have on the car.

Btw the bump stop information, for anyone who doesn't want to measure, just cut the bottom part of rib off.

the bump stop looks like this:
[TOP]

|______________| << rib 1
\_____________/
|____________| << rib 2
\___________/
|_________| << rib 3 [CUT HERE]
\_________/

[BOTTOM]

-- as far as everyone else's comment -- thanks on the rims, though i rather have it with Gun metal or hyper black.

I haven't bought them yet, I'm going to go and see if I can find something like that pic, but just with the color that I want.

Let me know if you guys have any opinions.

My opinion is silver. on the wheels.

I also wouldn't have cut the bump stop.

no need to cut the bump stop, it's not a SLAM! even though eibach tells you to, there's no need.

otherwise, congrats on the drop, i know you'll love it, nice choice of rims as well (consider 18's??)
