Gen6 Any difference in non-JBL Gen 6 head units?

Does the SE, LE, XLE, etc.. have different head units? I was under the impression that the head units were identical, but after reading numerous threads about the systems people always reference the trim. What gives?

The XLE has the JBL as std. equip.

The CE, LE, SE all have the same base unit.

True. The JBL is optional on the SE V6.

All 4-bangers, and the LE V6 cannot get the JBL.

This info is true for Canada anyway...

We don't have the CE variant either. We also don't have a 4-banger XLE.

The JBL and base model are different, with different connectors on the back as well. The reason being (I believe), is because the JBL systems have an external amp as well as bluetooth, while the base model does not.

But theres no difference between the SE JBL and say, the XLE JBL.
