Yes. Drums in the rear. V6 has discs in the rear, though I'm not sure that its since 2002 for the V6. But all 4cyl models, except for the SE, have rear drums.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Yes the 4cyl models have drums in the back, and I know for a fact that from 1992-2006 the V6 models have rear discs as well. I'm not sure about pre-'92, and the 2007+ have 4-wheel disc brakes on all models.
Rear drums are generally easy to remove if the parking brake is not set.
Brace front of car to keep it from moving fwd.
Break loose rear wheel lug nuts and elevate rear of car. Remove rear wheels. Pull off rear drums. Using internal caliper, measure inside dia. of rear drums in multiple places. I usually measure in 8 spots; then take the avg. Shop manual has specs. and in many cases, measurements are stamped on the outside of the drum.
If you're not into the caliper thing, find a good machine shop and have them evaluate. While they're at it, they can turn the drums if needed and if there's enough metal left.

The 2002-2006 V6 models come with 4 wheel disc brakes (just not sure about the LE though).

yes.....the 02-06 LE I4 came exclusivly with rear drum/front disc brakes....the 05-06 base did as well.....the LE V6 however came with discs all around, just as all SE and XLE models (4 and 6) came standard with 4 wheel discs
to check the rear drums, simply jack the car up and make sure youre firmly supported on jackstands to avoid danger...then, with the wheel removed and the paking brake off, bang on the drum with a soft plastic or rubbe rmallet a few times, and the drum should come loose...once off, check the shoes and drum itself....the measuremnets for proper drum width are stamped inside the drum....i believe proper spec is around .200mm - .230mm max for camry rear drums....as for the shoes, inspect their wear and replace if needed....to reinstall the drum, simply place it back and hit it a few times with the mallet to secure it, and youre set

XLE has 4 wheel disc also.
To remove the drums, there should be two holes on the face of the drum. Put the screws in there, and crank them down gradually and evenly and the drums should pop off.

That or just grab 'em and pull REALLY REALLY hard... you'll probably not get 'em off and end up with a hernea, but eh... I guess whoever is there with you would get a good laugh... and lets be honest, thats whats important in life.

If the drums don't come off, presumably because of rust, is it safe to use PB Blaster on them?
Or will it melt some rubber parts in there?
I am assuming that PB blaster is similar to liquid wrench. If so, then its safe to use. Just sprat it on where the drum fits around the hub. Thats the only place you need to use it. Use the holes in the drums like the post above suggested to pop off a stuck drum. I know its a pain to find bolts to fit if you don't have any handy, but you will need them again. I spent an hour trying to get the drum off on my Chevy van. I finally went and dug out a couple of machine screws from my tool box and it took me 2 mins to pop the drum off.
