Question Spring sag

The scenario...

once in a while, depending where i park, seems like i have a sag on my driver side rear corner. now i'm not 100% sure if it is a sag, as i only see it once in a while and it is not always there and i could be seeing things. if i move the car the sag is no longer visible. I've seen this sag maybe 5 times now all in different parking spots, where the rear looks slanted to the driver side.

Question:

if a sag is occuring, what is to blame, springs, shock absorber, or both. I'm basically trying to figure out if the shock has anything to do with keeping the car lifted or if it is ONLY the spring that does the job of holding the car up.

Thanks

Springs and stuff in the car (like 120lbs of gas, lol). Struts don't push up that hard - Maybe 20 lbs?

If the car is in fact leaning, you could have a broken or worn out coil spring. But it could also just be your perception of it though. I'd have a shop check it or at least park somewhere you know is perfectly level and measure the body height on both sides -

Struts don't push up at all. They are dampeners only and don't support any weight. The spring supports all of the weight.

As long as it's even on an even surface I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you a really big person?

HAHAHA I like that question (am I big). what a joker you are trdvvti, no I'm not BIG as per say, not small either, about 210lbs, 5'11". I ask about the shocks because the springs are pretty much brand new (eibachs installed earlier this spring). Other than my box in the trunk, nothing of weight is in the back.

Weird, I guess it's where i park that gives this illusion. just seems to be "illuding" me at different places. I'm going to measure it out on even surface to make sure.

Thanks for the input guys!!!
