2008 XLE w/Nav XM ?

New to the forum and first post.
I have a 2008 XLE w/Nav system on order. I have been a long time XM Radio listener. My question is what are my options for XM other than the pricey dealer install? I see where the 2007 Terk system will not work with a Nav system. I want to use the "XM Radio ready" factory steroe. Any thoughts?

I know there are several sites online which sell the Toyota XM kit for around $250. That's a substantial saving (as long as you can do the install yourself).

I paid the high dealer cost for my XM and I love the way it works with the factory head unit. An additional external XM receiver would completely spoil the experience. I keep on seeing those mounted on minivan's windshields from the inside.

I thought I read something somewhere about if you had the Nav system that it required something additional. This may have been with the Terk unit.

Visit a dealer and ask them to check the part numbers for the XM kit. If they are the same for both Nav and non-Nav cars, then no additional gadget is required.
