I think the only thing the SE has that attracks me is the "body kit" which the XLE lacks. The only things the XLE is missing is the Navigation. I've searched the Toyota.com and wasn't able to find the pricing. Someone with that info?
Which would be the most? I was also thinking Lexus ES350, but with a small child I would hate to have the interior ruined.
Please provide high and low points for both the SE and XLE.
Someone with ballpark estimates for OTD pricing? I'm located in Los Angeles. I want to walk into the Dealership well armed. Thank you.
First of all, whatever you do, GET THE V6! the one thing i dont like about my SE, is that it doesn't have the auto climate control. And the things that i love about it, are: how the leather looks (different from XLE), the handling, the LOOKS!!, and well, everything else.
And sorry, but i dont know much about pricing. Check out edmunds.com
I have an LE instead of an XLE because the rear seat back folds down on the LE allowing me to put stuff in the trunk and rear of car that would not otherwise fit with either an SE or XLE. Ever have to go to Home Depot? Think about the stuff that is long like a ladder or lumber. Only fits in an LE.
And btw, v6.

the SE's seats don't fold down on the 07s??? My '02 SE seats fold down. I find that odd that the 07s don't

Gen6 XLE seats don't fold because of the reclining rear seats, and the SE seats don't fold because of that body brace or whatever that car has in the trunk. They both have armrest passthroughs for skis and the like though.
Early Hybrids like my cousin's December 2006 one don't have split folding seats, but my August 2007 Hybrid DOES have 60/40.

I have the V6 XLE and I love it. I do like the SE body better, but the climate controls and look of the inside won out. I figure I'm looking at the inside of the car more than the outside, and I didn't hate the look without the body kit. I do wish I had gotten Nav, but a Garmin unit fixed that problem for me since I didn't really want to spend the cash for an OEM unit and I'm not a fan of the aftermarket look.

ah ok, thanks for clarifying that. Learn something new everyday!
To the OP, are you looking at a specific car on a lot? If not, why is NAV not available?
I bought my SE V6 with NAV, Remote Start, XM Radio and anything else that could be factory installed and got it for $600 over invoice. My OTD means nothing to you as I am in a different state with different taxes and license fees.
If you haven't gotten the point from other posts....SE V6
