Gen6 Engine top cover

Anyone know how to remove the cover on top of the V6 motor on an 07 Camry. I would like to actually see the motor. Thanks.

It's easy. Just gently lift it form the front until u hear a pop noise. Then continue lifting it and u will hear a second set of pop noise.

Use star tip to open the front 3 screws then gently lift until it pop out (be carefule since the snap screw is under Toyota logo).

Wow, the V6 really fills up under the hood. Anyone take the I4 cover off? It looks like just two screws and it should come off. I thought I'd ask before I went an started pulling.

The i4 looks like only half of the V6:

I love the look of my V6. A couple of my friends wanted me to pop the hood, so i did, and they were all surprised. I love the BID, BOLD V6 logo on it
What i love even more, is that its got balls...

Took the cover off my I4. Just two nuts hold it on. Uses a 10mm wrench or socket. Don't lose the washers under the nuts...

Yes the 2007 Camry V6 uses the 2GR-FE engine.
