Gen5 Quick ? About Wheel Spacers

Hey guys, i'm not to familiar with the whole wheel spacer thing so I have a couple questions for you guys that know some stuff bout them.

Well i'm putting my winter wheels and tires on tommorow becuase my summer tires are badly bald and I don't think they will last until the end of this month. I hate the way my winter setup looks because the wheels look so tucked in, in the back. The wheels I am running are 15 x 6.5 with a 38mm offset and the tires are 205/65/15. If i got some wheel spacers would it help the look a bit? Will i run into problems like needing longer studs? Is this a bad idea anyways? Someone give me a hand! Thanks in advance!

It's not really recommended.

If you decide to get them, make sure you don't buy one of the one size fits all spacers. Go with a proper spacer that fits the hub and wheel properly.

Personally, I'd never use them on any car.

I found spacers from Project Kics that have longer studs already there so there is no need to replace the existing ones. Anyone know about these?

If your talking about the spacers that bolt onto the existing lugstuds and then have other studs for the wheel itself, yes. They are a better alternative than a spacer that simply installs loosely behind the wheel.

The best alternative is a properly sized wheel. Doing some research will provide you with the same answer.

^ Yes, those are exactly what I am talking about. Who makes those ones? The project kics look just like those. How exactly do those work though, can someone explain them a bit, I am staring at them and trying to figure it out but maybe someone can explain it a little better. The only problem is how do I know what size spacer to get?

Here is a pic of my winter setup...

Frank20,
Here is the link to the website. http://www.ezaccessory.com/Wheel_Ada.../5450-5450.htm
These wheel adapter can be use as Pattern Conversion or Non-Pattern Conversion.
In your case, it would be the Non-Patttern Converstion meaning same 5x114.3 to 5x114.3 you just simple want to push the wheels out toward the edge to the wheel well.
Installation is just what you see from the picture. You just place the adapter onto your car's hub then tighten it up using the 5 lug nuts that you would normally tighten your wheels. After that, you put your wheels onto the new adapter. That's it.
Edit: How much you want to push out depend on the thickness you choose when order it. This website only have 1" and up. But I know that ichiba also has adapter ranging from 5mm to 25 mm (which close to 1").
Before you ask, here is the link www.ichibausa.com
How To Measure?

The widest point of your tire and wheel combination is usually the outside diameter of the tire sidewall. Using a ruler with the straight edge flush with the face of the tire, measure the gap between the outer face of the tire to the inside lip of the fender as shown in the diagram. This will determine the thickness of the spacer you will need.
5MM = 0.197 INCH / 8MM = 0.313 INCH
10MM = 0.393 INCH / 12MM = 0.473 INCH
15MM = 0.590 INCH / 20MM = 0.787 INCH
25MM = 0.983 INCH

Okay, I did some measuring and I have 12mm from the outside of the tire to the outside of the fender lip in the front, and 24mm in the back. 20mm of the back space is pure fender lip, so I will have to get that fender rolled if I want to go near 12mm.

My Camry has some bondo on the left side, so I think rolling the fender lip is a no-go. I'm going to take an angle grinder with the thin cutting wheel and cut off all but about 3-4mm of the lip. and install these:
