Gen6 Headlight Tinting

I jux had a horrible experience with tinting my headlights. My precut set of headlight tint came from laminx. It was extremely difficult to put it on, and I dunt think it even fit. It started to piss me off. so it looks like have to refund that shit, but laminx said the tint shouldn't affect the lights output. Thats wut i want. Do you know any other way to tint the headlights without using film and still have the same light output. I was thinking of using night shade( a spray) to tint it. It worked great with my tail lights. Any suggestions?

dont spray them, they will reduce light output.

i have heard of other people having problems installing the tint on other cars.
some have to also take the tint off at night because it reduced light output.
there are different tint manufcturers but who knows which one is good.

Lamin-X issues are with the precut stuff. When I got mine done, it was from a roll so it would be cut to fit at the time of installation. That's the way to go if you want it done well. Also if you smoke ur headlights and you dont have HID's, you tend to have a reduction in output just cuz the lights aren't bright enough to be unaffected by the tint.

Another thing, if you are smoking your headlights, then use the lighter smoke than the darker stuff that Lamin-X has. The dark stuff for whatever reason doesn't seem to be as durable and flexible.
