I was thinking about getting the yellow caps for my fogs, but the other day I saw a bmw w/ some bright blue fogs ( maybe HIDs) and now I WANT THEM! lol. But I was wondering if there are any bulbs out there for the gen.6 fog lights that are either brighter or are a bright-blue. and which do you gusys think would look better on a black se. Thanks!
You can try the Sylvania Silverstars. They are supposed to be the brightest halogen bulbs with the best lumen output.
If you really want it bright and have the money, you can do HIDs in your fogs but you will create a lot of glare for other drivers since our fogs are reflectors and not made for HIDs. Now we all know what we here at TN think about those who cause glare . lol.
Best bet... get those Silverstars and call it a day.

Or you can opt for Hella light bulbs, I used them on my Camry, the result is better than the Silverstars (SU) Ultra. Produce more white and better lumen output. PIAA and some aftermarket Super White Blulbs does give you the HID look but not as bright as the OEM halogen produced.
I have the Hella H11 in my fog light right now. I used to turn them on at night everytime because the H11 in the Camry projector is just not bright enough.
Now that I have HID kit installed when I turn those Hella fog light on....I couldn't even tell if they are on or not. Just simply because the HID is so bright.

Another option is to go for the Super Yellow 3500k output, a more Lexus-look than a BMW. I have a 6k HID on my lo-beams coupled with a pair of super yellow fogs and it's beautiful I tell ya. The yellow adds a nice little contrast, and it's also better during the rain, as opposed to white fogs.
Just my 2 cents.

I can send you some pics of the light setup on my car. I have 6000k headlights and 3000k fog lights.
nvm here you go:
I have the same 6000k as you but WOW 3000k fog light? Do you blind the oncoming traffic with the glare or it sits too low to blind others?
Yeah, pictures please

OMG, that is too sexy! but im gonna be gettin Hids for my headlights, (and hopefully some tsx projectors) and i dont have the cash to get 2 sets of Hids. but yours look great bro
it sits too low, i have only been flashed like 3 times out of the 8 months I had them.
Where I live we have alot of fog, and those 3000ks come in real handy
Wow, you have enough light for an airplane to land/take-off.
I'm glad to hear that those 3000k help you out. On a side note, if you didn't cover those squirrel spotter inside your headlight then the 3 times they flashed you may have been because of your headlight not your fog light. For safety of others please cover those squirrel spotters. Looks good man.

I just checked the sylvania catalog and they dont have H11 silverstar bulbs. I would of thought they would of gotten on top of this by now. I never really swapped bulbs... Just went straight for HID.
