Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i have a quote from a local dealer for a 2008 camry loaded that lists at 31719 and will sell for 28839 is that a good deal? just wondering if anybody else has gotten a camry with all the options and what you guys paid?
is that with or without taxes and all that other stuff?
Well, without TTL it's a decent deal, and as an OTD price (which I doubt) it's an amazing deal. Without TTL it is nearly $3k off of sticker which is probably between $500-$800 over invoice, IIRC.

I got my 07 Camry SE V6 new with JBL sound system, leather seats, sunroof, VSC, spoiler, free oil change and car washes for $26,200, which was $600 below invoice. It was retailing for $31,500.

The oil change and car washes were a dealer add-on that can't be used for national factory pricing/discount comparisons...but a good deal nonetheless. What did they say the 'msrp' and 'invoice' numbers were for the oil change and car washes...or the numbers on the car without that stuff?

Free, I told him before I buy the car throw in free oil changes and car washes. He agreed.

Either you left out options, or are way off on your MSRP ($31,500). Mine is a SE V6 w/NAV, VSC, Sunroof, Leather, Spoiler, XM, Remote Start etc... and sticker was only a few hundred more than yours.

Well it also depends on where you live, some dealerships charges more than others for the similar options. They can price it at 30k but the most important thing is that i got it under invoice.

I am also in Mid-Atlantic so the sticker pricing should be the same only differing on option packages a particular car has. Unless you got your car from SET in which all bets are off on pricing uniformity. NAV was almost $2k on it's own. I am really curious as to what the actual sticker price was on your car. Do you mind sharing the dealer name?

Koons Tysons
edit: I will double check my receipt from the dealer and let you know. BTW what is SET?

South East Toyota.
Are you going to Koons for service? I bought mine in MD, but I go back and forth between Koons (close to office) and Miller (closer to home) for service. When I bought (March 2006) Koons wouldn't deal a penny off of the MSRP.
