Gen 6 Trans flare

I was just wondering if the owners who are have the trans flare problems are driving their cars easy or full pedal down.

I only got the flare with easy acceleration. Have not gotten any flare recently.
TSB TC007-07 applied. This TSB solved many of my flares but a few 1-2 flares still existed only encountered when do light accel in traffic (I do live in NYC!!!)

Never got the flare, and it is an early build too, maybe I got lucky. Drive 10% full throttle, 90% easy.

I seem to get it more often when im easy on the gas, and not going downhill. If you accelerate fast then the engine revs up higher anyways, so it's harder to tell that it flared.

Lately, I stopped getting the 3-4 flare.

Instead I get a pretty serious 800-1000rpm 2-3 shift flare under more spirited gas applications.

I have not reported any of the flare to the dealer because I question their competence in putting my car back together properly.

I have had the latest TSB applied a few weeks ago. I still have flare. Usually easy on the gas in town driving. 3-4. Sometimes I can make it flare from 4-5 manual shift.

I called Toyota Corp. today and filed a complaint..waiting for my dealer to give me a call.

Lets quit calling this a flare...The damn piece of shit tranny slips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just to add, when I only had about 1-2K miles on the car the flare (erm, slip) would only happen in the morning after a cold night's sit. Now even if I turn the car off for 30 minutes it will flare up between 3rd-4th.

My transmission flares with light acceleration on flat ground. I had a 500 rpm flare after they replaced the tranny in April. I had TC007-07 done last week and the flare is much worse - about 1000 rpms. It mostly happens a few minutes after driving it after a cold soak - never the first few gear shifts.
