Gen5 TRD Springs and TRD Front Strut Bar

I just got the TRD springs and front strut bar for 05 camry 4 cylinder for around $500. I called the dealer up about the installtion and they said it will be around $500+. I trust this dealer but sometimes they overcharge and ripping me off. How much do shops charge for installtion of te TRD springs and strut bar?

no without the alignment it was 180, and a reputable customizing shop here. Just go to some shops and ask around

Will installing the springs and strut bar at the dealer be a bad thing because of the price. I mean I trust the dealer because I know my car will betaken care of and I see those local shops beat down and old. N say man I can't bring my camry to this rundown shop. It deserves more than that.

500+ from a dealer is a ripoff..and not worth going to the dealer because of that. As long as the mechanic is licensed you shouldn't have to worry, plus this Garage is being recommended by someone whom has used them before so obviously they're good. Gas is expensive, but if you have to worry about that then you shouldn't even be driving a car.

YES the alignment is necessary, unless you want to keep changing your tires every so many thousand miles. and other expensive suspension parts.

yes it is 200 without alignment. I am assuming that the quote the dealer gave you, did not include alignment?

I got the strut bar from the dealer and got it the next day. I say its worth it because I ordered it at 8:00am then got it the next morning since they get their shipment overnight. Don't get the TRD lowering springs from them cuz it might be backordered I got the springs just a couple of days ago. I waited at least 4 weeks after I purchased it.
