If you have a moonroof then you should have a plug already in the headliner, if not you will need to splice into the wires. I bought my OEM Toyota auto dim/compass mirror from the same people that sold that one online too (LKQ Online) and I haven't had a problem with it yet.

Camry mirrors with Auto Dim and Compass have 2 wires only. Switched power and ground.

See EWD 338 and EWD 491 of your service manual. Wire colors are shown.

Homelink and Temperature functions require extra wires...............

I saw the 2 wire diagram, but since this one has 5 going to the white plug I figured it would be different.

Why do people join forums and not contribute? Knowing the answer to someones question and then telling them to look it up instead of answering does nothing.

Here are some pics of the mirror installed. The mirror has 5 wires coming out of it but only 2 are used. Im still waiting on the wire cover to come in from the dealer and I have to get some double sided tape to stick the alarm atenna to the windshield.

It teaches them to try to help themselves...

What is the antenna

I too am looking for a compass mirror for my LE.

I see that you picked up the hybrid one from the 'bay, and I was thinking about doing the same.

However, I assumed that the compass was built into the mirror itself. Is that the case?

What is that antenna deal for right above the mirror?

The compass is built into the mirror. The antenna's for the 791xv Viper alarm.
