There is no V4...simply an inline 4 cylinder...this is in regards to a Camry...

Here's more info on the V engine design and also a straight (inline) engine...

Yes, there are V4 engines...but if you read my original post I stated that this is in regards to a Camry...meaning, there is no V4 Camry engine option.

I thought he was confusing V4 with V-Tech.

Are you kidding? I've seen people flamed numerous times on TN that referred to the I4 as a V4. Though I think there may be hope as your right about no flaming in THIS thread. After all, it's not like we're born with the knowledge! We have to learn it from somewhere, and the only stupid question is the unasked question.

^I gotta tell you. One time this guy went about 10-15 constructive posts in calling his car a V4. It's pretty annoying to tell you the truth.

Hey guys,

I have a V4 Camry and I have an issue. The V4 seems to lack power, and I want to know how I can make my V4 faster. Are there any upgrades for my V4? Etc, ETc, Etc.

an inline four is the norma 4cyl engine....they cylinders go in a straight line, as its name states
your camry has one of these..

a V4 is very uncommon, and is 4 cylinders in a V formation...only old ass saabs and some domestics used this....very anemic and a poor design
